Make a Purchase Recommendation

Can't find it in our catalog?  The Plymouth Public Library welcomes purchase recommendations made by any City of Plymouth resident or non-libraried Monarch Library cardholder.  While we do not guarantee the acquisition of all requests, we will do our best to acquire items that meet the following criteria: 

  • Meets an essential need of the local community that lacks coverage in the collection 
  • Reflects the broader reading interest of our service community
  • Not available at other Monarch Libraries.
  • Contains the most timely, reliable, and sufficiently authoritative information
  • We do not purchase self-published works unless the content is substantially relevant to the local area or State of Wisconsin. If you are a local author who would like to recommend your own item for purchase, please use this form: Local Author Purchase Request
